Tommy Rustad secured his second win of the season and the Norwegian was happy.
"I am really happy, I really needed this after the season start," said Rustad.
Richard Göransson was very close to Rustad, the both touched after a safety car restart and looked to be set for the gravel trap. But both of them somehow managed to stay on track and Göransson had to settle for second.
"I am pleased with this weekend, we gained a lot of points on Dahlgren," said Göransson.
Göransson reduced the gap in the championship to just three points behind Dahlgren. The Volvo-driver scored zero points after being involved in a high-speed accident with Roger Eriksson.
Dahlgren got up alongside Eriksson on the fastest part of the track when they touched. Eriksson clashed in to the side of Dahlgren, sending the both spinning off track, hitting the tyre barriers hard.
Both drivers were fortunately unhurt while both cars sustained heavy damage, especially the back of Dahlgren's car that was pushed way back.
Eriksson's team mate Dick Sahlén on the other hand had a good race. The SEAT-driver secured third and his second podium finish this year ahead of Fredrik Ekblom.
Thed Björk crossed the line as fifth after having to regain a lot of positions after being pushed wide in to the gravel in the first corner of the first lap.
Mattias Andersson took sixth position ahead of Jan "Flash" Nilsson and Patrik Olsson. Johan Stureson and top privateer Andreas Ebbesson rounded off top ten.
The safety car was brought out once before the incident of Dahlgren and Eriksson when the engine of Robin Appelqvist blew in a spectacular way. Fire spewed from the underside of the Alfa Romeo and Appelqvist had to leave the car hasty, leaving it in a dangerous position on the track.
