DTM: Citroen say no to 2009 DTM entry
Citroen has confirmed that they are not going to join the DTM in 2009 as originally suggested.

Citroen's Motorsport boss Olivier Quesnel told Autosport that he is happy how things were progressing with the World Rally Championship organisers and is to stay in the championship.

Olivier Quesnel admitted that he has been looking into the prospect of joining the German-based series.

"DTM is impossible for next year," he said. I hope to go rallying, but it depends on the regulations."

Hans Werner Aufrecht, boss of DTM promoters ITR, has also confirmed that he had not had any more contact with Citroen.
