The two Lada 110 of Russan Bears Motorsport have been declared eligible to score points in the World Touring Car Championship. Drivers Jaap van lagen and Viktor Shapovalov have not been able to score points in the three previous races that they have taken part in. This was because the intake and outlet ports of the cylinder heads were not conform to the homologation form.
Lada have now amended the Group N homologation form of the Lada 110. Because of this the car is according the rules and the FIA Touring Car Bureau have decided to allow the cars to score points in the Independents and Team-championship of the WTCC.
