The unfortunate Alexander Lvov crashed once again during the Swedish Touring Car Championship race at Falkenberg. This time it was in a spectacular fashion and the photographers of Mediaempire caught the crash sequence, shown below. Lvov paying Kristoffersson Motorsport to run him and the remaining Audi A4 in selected races of the STCC.
The Russian has taken part in four races so far this year. He has only finished once, at Mantorp where he crossed the line three laps after the winner.
In the three other races he has managed to crash either in the first lap, during the warm up lap or a couple of laps later. At Falkenberg he crashed, shown in the pictures below, on the first lap. At Sturup, which the STCC has visited twice, he crashed on the warm up lap and on the first lap.
If the Audi and the Russian will be back on track remains to be seen. This is not the same car that team owner and driver Tommy Kristoffersson uses. That car has received a new engine and Kristoffersson should be back for the race, after the summer break, at Gelleråsen.
