The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters is not going to visit France next year despite a three year deal with the track Dijon.
"The investment required to host DTM was a bit too much for Dijon," said an ITR spokesman to Autosport.
The circuit organizers have agreed with the DTM promotor ITR to end the three year deal after just one year.
While the championship is going to continue on ten races next year, the replacement for Dijon is not going to be put in France.
"We want to stay at 10 races, so we are looking for another track so we don't have to visit another of the existing tracks twice.
But it won't be in France," said the ITR spokesman.
There has been no decision yet on which track is going to replace Dijon. Stay tuned for more news on the subject!
