The team won the last race of 2009, thanks to Ponce De León, and are looking to carry that momentum in to 2010, despite the challenge of adapting to a new car.

The signing of 2002 champion Fontana, gives the team a three champion strong line-up for the new season.

Gabriel Ponce De León, three times a champion with the team, with which he has driven for since 1999, said:
"Firstly I'm happy to be for another year in the team. We have a new model and we have high expectations of its performance."
