Pirtek Racing to run two NGTC Hondas in 2012

Pirtek Racing will run two NGTC specification Honda Civics in the British Touring Car Championship next season for Andrew Jordan and Jeff Smith. The team has secured a deal with Team Dynamics to get two newly built cars for 2012.
“We’re running a two-car satellite team with Dynamics and our guys will be there as the cars are built,” said team boss Mike Jordan to Autosport.

Pirtek Racing [Eurotech Racing] is currently running two Vauxhall Vectras with the NGTC turbo engines for Jordan, currently lying sixth in the drivers championship, and Smith, currently 16th.
“We won’t get much testing, but it’s going to be mega. Linking up with them is something we’ve been wanting to do for a while and I think the car will be phenomenal. It’s put us in the best car that’s going to be on the grid next year,” said Andrew Jordan.

The team has also secured a new two-year deal with main sponsor Pirtek ahead of next season.
“It has allowed us to make a step up and gives us stability,” said Mike Jordan.
