Engstler to run four cars in ADAC Procar

Liqui Moly Team Engstler will return in full force in this year’s ADAC Procar, the German championship with two BMW 320sis in Division 1 as well as pair of cars in the S1600-based Division 2 for the first time.

The Engstler team won the drivers’ and teams’ titles last year with a one car effort for Johannes Leidinger, who will now go on to race for Engstler in the ADAC GT Masters and won’t return to defend his title.

The team plans to run two BMW 320si E90s in this year’s Divison 1 class, with the drivers yet to be announced.

The team has also announced that it will be running cars in the series’ second division for the first time for the ADAC Sports Foundation supported pair Julia Trampert and Lennart Marioneck.

Trampert (19) made her ADAC Procar debut last season with GENA Autosport, whilst Marioneck (23) was part of the winning team in the 2011 ADAC Cruze Cup which is run by WTCC squad Wiechers-Sport.
