Fernando Monje and Bas Schouten back to racing in Austria

Fernando Monje has been confirmed to take part in the race due to be held this weekend in Salzburg, Austria.

The Spaniard has recently given the Opel Astra OPC its first podium in Monza and expects to perform well at a track he knows and loves, after claiming two wins in the FIA European Touring Car Championship double header back in 2012.

Bas Schouten will also be back on track in Austria, after his debut in Valencia, Spain, at the wheel of a Bas Koeten Racing SEAT León Racer. The Dutchman scored a ninth and an eighth place in the two races in Spain.

Schouten almost scored a podium in Valencia, though, before a fuel pump failure forced him to retire.

Diego Romanini is also set to return behind the wheel of the Proteam Ford Focus ST, just like he did at the opening round of the series in Sepang, Malaysia.
