TCR Germany reveals 2017 calendar

The TCR Germany series has revealed the calendar for the second season, featuring seven events in four countries, starting in late April at Oschersleben and ending at the Hockenheimring in late September.

The 2016 series was won by British driver Josh Files, and the 2017 series is already set to be stronger still. With more than 20 cars entered per race weekend in its inaugural season, organisers are understood to be turning some entries away for the 2017 season.

The season opens at the Oschersleben circuit near Magdeburg in eastern Germany, before heading to Austria in June at the Red Bull Ring.

The championship returns to Oschersleben in July, sharing the bill with the TCR International Series (effectively confirming this event, as the TCR International Series are yet to reveal their calendar).

Zandvoort in the Netherlands hosts Round 4 a week later, before the last three races are a German-only affair, with the Nürburgring, the Sachsenring and Hockenheimring as the last three events.
