Daniel Nagy given penalty for incident with Stian Paulsen

M1RA’s Daniel Nagy has lost his ninth-place result in Race 2 at Zandvoort in the TCR Europe Touring Car Series, after the Hungarian was judged to be responsible for the incident which took Stian Paulsen’s Cupra out of the race on lap four.

Nagy had just lost sixth to Attila Tassi and had dropped two more positions before Paulsen was lining up a pass on the Hyundai driver into Turn 8, when he was knocked off the track and into the barriers.

Nagy originally finished ninth, but with a ten-second penalty added to his time, he’s now classified as 12th in the final order, with Comtoyou Racing’s Maxime Potty promoted to the final points position in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.
