Aurélien Panis given five-place grid penalty for Fulín incident

Comtoyou Racing’s Aurélien Panis has been handed a five-place grid penalty for Race 3 tomorrow in Slovakia for an incident with the wild card entry of Petr Fulín in Race 2 today.

The Frenchman and Fulín’s Fullin Race Academy Cupra came into contact mid-race, with Fulín’s car sustaining damage and received the mechanical black flag which lost the Czech driver a lap.

Panis’ penalty means he drops from 16th to 21st on the grid for tomorrow’s race.
