Ollie Taylor bags Race 2 pole at Croft

Pyro Motorsport’s Ollie Taylor will start tomorrow’s second race of the weekend at Croft from pole position.

With the grid set according to drivers’ best second-fastest lap-times in reverse, Honda Civic Type R FK8 TCR driver Taylor will line up ahead of the Vauxhall Astra TCR of Darelle Wilson.

Drying track conditions largely dictated how the grid was set, with those setting their times last ending up further down the order.

Lewis Kent will start his Essex and Kent Hyundai i30 N TCR from third on the grid, ahead of the second Pyro Motorsport Civic Type R FK8 TCR of Finlay Crocker.

Race 1 pole-sitter Andreas Bäckman lines up fifth, ahead of WestCoast Racing team-mate, and sister, Jessica in the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.

Points leader Dan Lloyd starts from seventh, while the Maximum Motorsport Cupra TCR of Stewart Lines competes the grid.
