SBF and STCC war is over with contracts signed for 2013

The war between the Swedish Automobile Sports Federation (SBF) and STCC is over. Both parties met today and agreed over a new contract.
“We have solved the main issues, regarding the fee from STCC AB to SBF and the paragraphs about rallycross,” said Kåge Schildt, Chairman of SBF, to automotorsport.se.

The conflict spawned over the fee STCC was to pay SBF in order to get the official Swedish Championship status.
“Yes, we hoped all the way that the situation was solvable. We have gone through all contracts and found solutions that both parties can accept. A lot of hard work lies ahead for the coming weeks, but we are prepared,” said Bob Huzell, Managing Director of STCC AB.

The STCC season starts of the 4th of May at Knutstorp, with three days of pre-season testing at the same track from April 17th to 19th.
