Göransson ahead of Mangs in second Knutstorp test

Richard Göransson was again on top in the second STCC test session at Knutstorp, this time with Citroën driver Jocke Mangs in second position. The BMW driver’s best time was over four tenths slower compared to his best lap of the first session, with Mangs 0.106 seconds behind in second position.

Linus Ohlsson was the top Volvo driver in third position, despite having technical problems during the session. The 22-year-old stopped on track at mid-point of the session and was towed back in to the pits, only to get back out again shortly as the problem was of minor character.

Thed Björk set the fourth fastest time, 0.357 seconds from Göransson’s time, with BMW colleagues Robin Rudholm and Fredrik Larsson in fifth and sixth.

Robert Dahlgren, Niclas Olsson, Mattias Andersson and Fredrik Ekblom rounded off the top ten with Ekblom being 0.834 seconds from the top time in tenth position.

Roar Lindland and Tomas Engström suffered from electrical problems during the session and managed only to complete six and eight laps respectively.

Next up is the qualifying session for the drivers, starting tomorrow at 09.00 CET.
