Plato penalised, Turkington promoted to third

Colin Turkington has been promoted to third in the results of the final race at Oulton Park, after Jason Plato was given a post-race penalty.

The stewards ruled Triple Eight’s Plato was at fault for an incident with West Surrey Racing’s Turkington at Shell, where he tapped the back of the BMW 125i and moved ahead.

Plato has had 1.5 seconds added to his race time, and falls back to fourth.
