Mattias Andersson penalised for incident at Solvalla

Dacia Dealer Team driver Mattias Andersson has been penalised with a grid-drop penalty after the incident at Solvalla with Fredrik Larsson.

Andersson was turned around by Kia driver Linus Ohlsson in corner two at Solvalla. The Dacia driver then spun his car around to get going again, but span out into the middle of the circuit and made contact with BMW driver Larsson.

Larsson only just managed to avoid substantial damage to his BMW, but the stewards awarded Andersson with a three-place grid drop for the first race at Mantorp Park this weekend for re-entering the track in an unsafe way.

Emma Kimiläinen performed a similar maneuver at Solvalla as well, driving straight out in traffic after being spun around and collected Matte Karlsson. Kimiläinen was however not penalised for the incident.
