Andrew Jordan focusing on getting back to the top in 2015

Andrew Jordan has his focus set firmly on a return to the top of the BTCC pile in 2015, but remained tight-lipped on what he will line up in at Brands Hatch in April, stating only that he’ll be in a “front running car”.

After a year that can be described as the epitome of a season of two halves, Jordan finished in fifth, 124 points behind champion Colin Turkington. However, the 2013 BTCC champion chose not to discuss what could have been in 2014, instead focusing on his 2015 plans, but only revealing very little at this time.

“We have lots of plans going on, but nothing I can really talk about at the minute,” Jordan told TouringCarTimes. “All I know is we’ll be in a front running car. I can’t really say what our plans are and what we’re doing but there are a lot.

“Taking the title back off Colin is the aim, but there’ll be a lot of people trying to do that so I need to make sure I put myself in the best situation, the best position to do that. There’s going to be a lot of hard work over the winter.”
