Daniel Haglöf edges closer to Thed Björk in second Skövde test

Thed Björk pipped Daniel Haglöf on the very last lap of the second test session at the Skövde airport circuit with just nine thousands of a second separating the two.

Fredrik Ekblom, who topped the first test, held position one for the first part of the test. Haglöf took over the top spot with 50.310, only for Björk to jump from third to first on his last lap of the session with 50.301.

Richard Göransson was fourth fastest for Team Tidö, three tenths behind, with WestCoast Racing driver Fredrik Larsson in fifth, a further 0.026 seconds behind.

Mattias Andersson spent the first part of the session in the pits with what seemed to be electrical problems but managed to get out to set the sixth fastest time, six tenths of a second from Björk’s time.

Emma Kimiläinen was the third fastest Saab driver in seventh position and was the final driver within one second from the fastest time.

Next up is qualifying, with Q1 starting at 16.00 CET.
