JAS Motorsport aim to have up to 35 Honda Civic TCRs ready for the start of 2016

JAS Motorsport have announced they plan to have up to 35 of the new 2016 specification Honda Civic TCR available for competition in the various national and regional TCR series for 2016, as well as the top tier International Series.

The car, which made its racing debut two weeks ago at the Buriram International Circuit driven by Gianni Morbidelli, securing pole on its first outing, will be available to customers at the price of 104,000 EUR, with 20 cars already in build.

“We are confident we have the right package assembled for next year’s TCR championships,” said Mads Fischer, JAS Motorsport customer support manager.

“The developments have enabled us to value-engineer components for rapid supply at the right price, and our package price is certainly more competitive compared to our first generation car,” he added.

“The new Honda meets all the updated technical regulations for 2016 and now we will sell out the JAS Honda Civic TCR, ready to race.”
