PWR Racing confirms three drivers for 2016 STCC

SEAT team PWR Racing has confirmed former champion Johan Kristoffersson to join regular drivers Emma Kimiläinen and Daniel Haglöf for the 2016 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.
”I am really looking forward to win the STCC again and I feel that the chances are good with PWR and SEAT,” said Kristoffersson.

The team switches from Saab to SEAT for this season and expands from two to three cars.

”To be able to present a driver line-up of this caliber feels great. And to be the only team with a woman behind the wheel does not make things worse. I just want the season to start now,” said team co-owner Poker Wallenberg.

Kimiläinen starts her third STCC season and finished seventh overall last year with two podium finishes.

Haglöf will start his sixth STCC season, finishing sixth overall last season after claiming his maiden victory at Solvalla.

Kristoffersson will miss the race at Solvalla this season due to a clashing FIA World Rallycross Championship round where he races for Volkswagen. The team will announce a replacement driver for Kristoffersson at that round later this year.

PWR Racing is currently completing a pre-season test at the Karlskoga circuit with all three drivers.
