Björn Wirdheim eight thousands from Johan Kristoffersson

Former Jaguar Formula 1 test driver Björn Wirdheim closed the gap to Johan Kristoffersson who again was fastest in the second STCC test at Mantorp Park.

SEAT driver Kristoffersson lapped the short circuit in 47.196, just 0.008 seconds faster than Saab driver Wirdheim in second position.

Polestar Cyan Racing’s Richard Göransson wasn’t far behind in third position, lapping Mantorp just 0.084 seconds slower than Kristoffersson in first position.

Championship leader Robert Dahlgren was fourth fastest, with Daniel Haglöf improving for SEAT Dealer Team PWR Racing in fifth position, close to six tenths of a second from the top.

STCC newcomer Reuben Kressner, who has been forced to switch chassis following his major incident with Scott McLaughlin in the season opener, was sixth fastest ahead of Dacia Dealer Team driver Mattias Andersson.

Nissan driver Linus Ohlsson and Ford driver Rasmus Mårthen were able to complete the entire session in bright contrast to their issues in the first test, occupying positions nine and ten behind Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte in eighth.
