Richard Göransson heads Volvo 1-2 in second Falkenberg test

Richard Göransson was once again fastest in the second Scandinavian Touring Car Championship test at Falkenberg, extending the gap to Polestar Cyan Racing team-mate Robert Dahlgren to 0.419 seconds.

Björn Wirdheim continues to climb the order, setting the third fastest time, just over half a second from the top time in his Flash Engineering prepared Saab 9-3.

Emma Kimiläinen was fastest of the SEAT drivers in fourth position, lapping the short and fast circuit in 43.901, a time 0.554 seconds behind the top.

Other than the top three drivers, the field was closely matched with positions four to ten being covered by less than three tenths of a second.

Linus Ohlsson was the final driver in the top five with his Nissan SE, while Johan Kristoffersson claimed sixth position for SEAT Dealer Team PWR Racing.

Rasmus Mårthen, who selected to miss the previous round due to budgetary reasons, showed improved form in the second session, claiming position seven in his Brovallen Design prepared Ford Mondeo, with Prince Carl Philip rounding off the top eight.

Next up is qualifying, starting at 16:05 CET.
