Stewards revise Ollie Jackson penalty

Stewards have revised the penalty that was handed out to Ollie Jackson following the second race of a dramatic BTCC weekend at Snetterton.

The AmDTuning.com driver was initially handed a £1,000 fine, three penalty points on his licence and given a five place grid penalty having been deemed to be the cause of the multi-car accident that also saw Dan Welch, Hunter Abbott, Ash Sutton and Alex Martin retire from the race.

Jackson and his team elected to appeal the decision and, whilst that was upheld, the penalties were revised later on Sunday evening.

Instead of the initial penalty, Jackson was instead fined £500 and given three points on his licence, with the grid drop being rescinded.
