New Hyundai i30 TCR seen testing

The first image of Hyundai’s new TCR challenger, based on the road-going i30, has been seen testing in a camouflage livery.

The latest manufacturer to build a car to TCR regulations, with Gabriele Tarquini onboard as test and development driver, have released this photo themselves on their social media platforms.

The car will be based on the second generation i30, and will join the i20 R5 rally car as part of their customer racing programmes, with the World Rally Championship remaining Hyundai’s only manufacturer programme.
