West Coast Racing testing at Spa

The defending STCC champions West Coast Racing tested at the Belgian track Spa. Both drivers Richard Göransson and Thed Björk were at the track, doing many important kilometres on track. “We have tested many own ideas on dampers, diffs, setups. We are very pleased,” team manager Dick Jönsson said.

WCR was the only STCC team on site so no times could be compared.

But, as the second day of testing went to its end things got very wrong. Richard Göransson lost control of his BMW and planted the front of the car in a tyrewall. “It feels heavy. It would be nice to put time on something else than reparing. There is alot to do in the front of the car, but really how much we don´t know yet,” Dick Jönsson said.
