No STCC for “Flash”

Volvo-man Janne “Flash” Nilsson today confirmed that he leaves touring car racing. Rumours had it earlier that “Flash” would drive a BMW in STCC. But, the multiple STCC champion will this season drive Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia.

“This is really great, Porsche is the sportscar of sportscars and to be able to race in this family is a dream coming true,” Flash said.

Porsche Sweden is running the car for him and other than driving the whole Scandinavian season there will be a couple of international races. “Flash is an incredibly good driver and we really want to do a couple of european and asian races with him, and in front of all Shang Hai during the Formula One race,” Ola Nilsson from Porsche Sweden said.
