Volvo testing new S60
Volvo Polestar Racing will be at the coming Gelleråsen round with a new version of the S60. The car have been totally redesigned since last season.
“It feels nice to roll out a car completely produced by us. We´ve put down alot of time to make sure everything is right and the mechanics have worked day and night to get the car ready. It will be very interestning to see how the car compares to the other cars,” team manager Christian Dahl said.
The two S60´s for Dahlgren and Sandström have been changed more accordingly to the national S2000 rules of STCC.
“Now we have the opportunity to change some constructions of the car that we couldn´t change the last time the car was homologated. Basically it´s a new car, drawn and produced by us. We have, among other things, reconstructed the roll-cage to increase the stabiliy and through that the handling,” Dahl said.
The team tested the new car at the norwegian track Våler a few days ago. The test was reported to be succesful and the team looks forward to the coming STCC race.
