STCC back in SVT

The Swedish Touring Car Championship will be broadcasted in the stately TV network SVT in 2006. The races will be shown in the twelve year old programme “Race” that was started when Rickard Rydell drove for Volvo in BTCC. STCC will be shown together with DTM and the programme will be extended by another hour.

“It is going to be really great to be back with STCC again. The conditions have never been better and the combination STCC and DTM gives an unbeatable motorsports entertainment”, programme founder Johan Thorén said.

The calendar of STCC will be made along side the DTM calendar and it is expected to be released soon.
