Mercedes getting ready for 2006

The STCC Mercedes team is working hard for the coming season. Tobias Johansson and Hans Simonsson made their debut in STCC last year. But it was a year filled with problems, especially with the engine.

“We had alot of problems with the engines. It was not a question if they were going to break but when,” Johansson said to STCC.se

For this year the engine development has been moved from Lichtenstein to Sweden. A company that previously have developed Volvo and Polestar´s engines have taken over it. There will most likely be two Mercedes in the championship driven by Tobias and Hans.

“We hope to introduce it all in january,” Tobias said.
