Teams upset over new test
The Swedish motor magazine “Teknikens Värld” reports that there already are hot emotions about the rules in STCC. The rules of STCC clearly states that no testing is allowed on a track upon which the series will compete on within two weeks.
Despite this, the STCC organisation have decided to run a test at Knutstorp only two days before the premiere at the very same track.
This has upset a number of teams which claim that the STCC organisation does this to satisfy teams that are late with their cars.
– If a team haven’t done their home work it shouldn’t affect those who have, an anonymous STCC-driver said to Teknikens Värld.
This recently announced test goes out side many of the teams already set budget. The test is not compulsory but by not attending the test, teams are missing out on valuebal data and settings.
The STCC organisation claims that a majority of the teams wanted this test, but according to Teknikens Värld many of the teams weren’t even aware of this newly scheduled test.
