Audi confirms three car team

Audi and KMS today confirmed that they will be on the grid this year in STCC with three cars. Tommy Kristoffersson and Fredrik Ekblom will continue with the new addition of Thed Björk.

Björk drove BMW last year for WCR and is very motivated coming to a new team.

– It is a great honour for me to drive for Audi and KMS. I have great expectations and I think we have a winning concept, Björk said.

Previous STCC-champion Fredrik Ekblom is confident over the coming season, especially with the backup from Audi Germany.

– We have a good dialouge and everyone knows that we are facing perhaps the most exciting season ever. Then you can´t do anything half of the way, that is not Audi´s way. We have good recources and we are aiming to get the gold and honour back to Audi again, Ekblom said.
