Three car team for Flash

Flash Engineering today introduced a three car team. Janne “Flash” Nilsson and Richard Göransson will drive two BMW 320si E90. Edward Sandström is also in the team but will drive a BMW 320i E46.

The main sponsor is the Swedish mail service “Posten”. They will sponsor Flash Engineering with 2.5 million Swedish kronor. The contract is for one year with the option to extend another three years. The car Sandström will drive is the one that Flash drove last year in STCC.

Current champion Richard Göransson is very exited for the coming season:

– This year will be extremely tough. 25 cars on the grid where most of them have developed from last year, Göransson said.

– Unfortiunately we are a bit behind our schedule. The car isn’t ready yet so we haven’t been able to start testing yet. We hope to get the car on track before 27 April and do about 5 test days before the first race.

– But despite so few test days I am convinced that we will be ready enough for the premiere to be able to fight in the top directly!

The team will not be present during the first official test tomorrow at Anderstorp since the engines haven’t arrived yet.
