Mercedes to start testing

The Mercedes team was not present on the first testday at Anderstorp. But the team will be testing hard for the coming season, starting their test programme today at Mantorp.

– We will start a tough programme. Five test days in two weeks is planned, said the Mercedes-driver Tobias Johansson.

The team made the first shake down for the season at Karlskoga last week.

– It felt very good. We know that we are going to struggle this season. We haven’t got close to the ammount of test data that the other team have on their cars. But we are working commited and we are taking small steps forward all the time, Johansson said.

The team will test at Mantorp today, Karlskoga on Sunday, Knutstorp on thursday next week, Mantorp again next sunday and finally Mantorp for a third time on May the fifth.
