Rosenblad tops first practice

Carl Rosenblad topped the first practice session of the STCC weekend at Gelleråsen. He topped the test with a time of 1:08.638 which was only 0.081 seconds ahead of Robin Rudholm. Gelleråsen is, as we reported earlier, a track suitable for RWD cars.

But despite the top two positions being held by RWD BMW’s, the FWD cars are not far behind.

Fredrik Ekblom (Audi) took third, Robert Dahlgren (Volvo) fourth and Tomas Engström (Honda) fifth. All of them were within two tenths of Rosenblad’s time. Next practice session starts at 12.45 CET.
