Göransson on pole at Mantorp

Richard Göransson blitsed the Mantorp circuit today and took pole position during the super pole. Göransson will start the race tomorrow ahead of Carl Rosenblad on second place and Fredrik Ekblom in third.

Robin Rudholm topped the first qualifying session but was unable to top the super pole and had to settle for fourth position.

– The lap wasn’t perfect, but our position for tomorrow is good. We know we are strong during the race, so I’m looking forward to it, Rudholm said.

There are still some question marks for the first qualifying session which decided the super pole line-up. Several drivers set their times when a yellow flag was out. A couple of them had their times striked. Some felt that they shouldn’t have had their time removed (for example Huisman) while other drivers felt that more drivers should have their times removed.
