Dahlgren takes pole position

Robert Dahlgren continued his fine form from the practice sessions and took pole position in the super pole. The Volvo-driver heads the field ahead of the Audi-duo with Thed Björk in second and Fredrik Ekblom in third.

“This is great! I had a perfect lap and I sad to the guys before the qualifying that they were going to get a fast ride,” Dahlgren said with a smile.

The Audi-team was very happy with taking second, third and seventh on the grid. Championship leading Thed Björk was fastest of the three drivers in second place.

“Very nice! I over cooked it a bit too much in the first corner, but second place is great. There are many laps tomorrow and many things can happen,” Björk said after the qualifying.

Reigning champion Richard Göransson topped the first qualifying session which decided the top eight for the super pole. But he was unable to respond during super pole and will start from fourth position.
