Flash takes Anderstorp pole

Janne “Flash” Nilsson took his first pole position this year at Anderstorp today. He topped the list ahead of championship leader Thed Björk in second and Johan Stureson of Peugeot in third.
“This is like coming to heaven without having to die first. I felt that I have had enough bad luck this season, I think it will let go now,” a happy Flash said after the qualifying.

The weather played a big role today. Robert Dahlgren topped the first qualifying session which decides top eight for super pole. During that session it was raining from time to time and the track was completely wet.

When super pole started the rain had stopped and some drivers were on slicks. Janne “Flash” Nilsson was first out on the track. After his lap the rain started again making the times worse for each driver starting after him.

The race ought to be interestning tomorrow with faster drivers starting further down the grid. The race starts at 15.00 CET and TouringCarTimes will be on the scene providing results, pictures and interviews!
