Swedish King to visit STCC-final

The Swedish King Carl XVI Gustav will host the prize ceremony at the final STCC race of the year. The race will take place in two weeks on the first of October at Mantorp Park in Sweden. Carl Gustav is a well known motorsport fan and has hosted several STCC prize ceremonies before.

“STCC is the king of motorsport in Sweden, so what better than the King him self to hand out the prizes,” Thomas Lindskog from STCC AB.

“It is great fun that the King will visit the final race. We have a good connection with the royal house and it is a great honor that the King visits Mantorp and hosts the prize ceremony,” said Kåge Schildt from SBF.
