Kizilirmak withdraws

Erkut Kizilirmak has suddenly been forced to withdraw from this weekend’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship meeting at Brands Hatch.

Reigning Turkish touring car champion Kizilirmak has stood down from the event due to “personal reasons”, according to a spokesperson for his Vauxhall team. Kizilirmak had been scheduled to drive VX Racing’s fourth Vauxhall Astra Sport Hatch – this would have been his third appearance in the 2006 BTCC.
