Rudholm quickest in final test

Robin Rudholm behind the wheel of the West Coast Racing prepared BMW 320i was quickest at the final practice session at Mantorp Park today. He was followed by the two Audi’s of Fredrik Ekblom and Thed Björk. Tobias Johansson continued his strong pace and was fourth quickest in the Mercedes C-Class!

Championship contender Richard Göransson was forced to sit out the second practice session of the day. A welding for the rear axle was damaged and a new subframe is being sent from Denmark.

“I’m resting my self in to shape. The first test went fine and I’m not the least worried for the race tomorrow. It was superb that this happened now and not tomorrow,” Göransson said.

Thed Björk also had problems during the second session.

“It was a water hose leaking and made alot of smoke. But it was nothing serious and it felt good otherwise, I’m hopeful for tomorrow,” Björk said.
