Peugeot will continue next year

The Peugeot-team will continue in the Swedish Touring Car Championship next year. There were rumors earlier of their exit after Peugeot France decided to pull their support of touring car racing.
“Yes, we will most likely continue another year. Johan (Stureson) had a though season with a lot of bad luck, but we have a firm believe in our programme,” Maria Lantz from Peugeot Sweden said to Expressen.

Stureson finished eight in the championship with 17 points. His best position was fourth at Gelleråsen. Stureson never really had the pace to match the cars in the top. Last season how ever Stureson were close a couple of times to take a victory. The 407 has got a lot of potential and Stureson is a very fast driver – the question is if the team are able to maximize this next season.
