Testing has begun for Peugeot

The IPS Motorsport Peugeot team has started testing for the coming season. Johan Stureson was behind the wheel of the 407 at Sturup Raceway. The team is planning to do more testing this year if the weather allows it; it is not long until the snow grabs hold of Sweden. Stureson was satisified with the test.

“The development can never stop and according to the preliminary STCC 2007 calendar the season will start on April the 22:nd. That means that we must start testing in time. During the racing season there is not much time over for good test days, during a race weekend you are maximizing the setup for that track and the specific weather of the day,” Stureson said.

“Now we have time to test things that we have been thinking about during the past season and that we need answers to before the winter to have an optimized car for next season,” team boss Per Stureson said.
