Where to for Sandström?

There are a lot of rumours circulating around Edward Sandström and his whereabouts for 2007. Last season he drove for Flash Engineering, a season that ended too quickly as he crashed violently at Mantorp Park. For the coming season Edward was offered a Carrera Cup drive for Flash Engineering, an offer he turned down.
“The goal for me is STCC and the offer I got from “Flash” was not in proportion for what I signed for with them last year,” Sandström said to STCC.se.

The rumours are indicating that Sandström could join Audi or Volvo.

“I have not got a concrete offer from Volvo and from Audi I have heard nothing. But those are two interesting alternatives for sure.”

Another option for Sandström, as he has mentioned earlier, is to start his own team.

“I am looking at many options. To start my own team is the most likely thing right now. Either you go for it seriously or you don’t go for it at all. I am looking at it now, but it is starting to get expensive, there is a quite strong development race going on in the STCC now,” Sandström said.
