Joakim Frid to drive Opel Astra

The privateer STCC champion of 2006 – Joakim Frid – will drive a Opel Astra this season. Frid will drive the black Opel Astra that Tommy Rustad drove two years ago.
“It will be great having Rudstad’s car from 2005. It will for sure be strong in the privateers cup,” Frid said.

Opel Team Sweden are pleased to see the car back on track again.
“It is great to see the car back in the STCC races again. We know that Frid is a great driver and we know the team from last season,” Anders Warnestad from Opel Team Sweden said.
