The final test at Sturup Raceway

It was BMW and Audi in top during the final STCC test before the season start. Fredrik Ebklom held the flag high for WestCoastRacing all day long and was joined in the top by Frank Stippler in second place during the closing stages. Home boy Johan Stureson took third place.

“We have the situation under control. Our problem was to find a good qualifying setup, but now it seems to work just fine. The track is narrow but fun to drive,” Ekblom said.

There was a minor incident between returnee Rosenblad and Rudholm. When Rosenblad exited the pits Rudholm came on a quick lap with new tyres. Rosenblad misunderstood the situation and was hit by Rudholm and spun. No major damage was done, some dented metal.

Flash Engineering (engine service) and Engström Motorsport were not present at the test today.

This was the last test before the premiere that takes place next weekend.
