Robert Dahlgren takes another pole
Robert Dahlgren took his second pole position this year at Knutstorp. The Volvo-man lapped the track in 1:01.344 during the super pole, a time no one could match.
“Wonderful, I didn’t think this would be possible with this much extra weight,” said Dahlgren.
His closest opponent was Robin Rudholm in his newly repaired BMW 320si.
“The car was great, I was a bit too careful in the end but I am pleased,” Rudholm said.
Making it three different makes in top three was reigning champion Thed Björk in his Audi A4.
“Starting third is great at Knutstorp, it will be a interesting race,” said Björk.
Fredrik Ekblom took fourth ahead of Alexander Storckenfeldt of Volvo who regularely is not in super pole. Kristoffersson will start sixth ahead of both Flash Engineering cars with Göransson seventh and Nilsson eight.
“I’m not that pleased, I don’t know what the problem is but I will sit down with my engineer and solve this,” said Göransson.
The race starts at 15.00 CET, stay tuned!
