Storckenfeldt penalised for crash

Alexander Storckenfeldt of Volvo has been penalised with -10 places for the coming race at Gelleråsen. Storckenfeldt was penalised because of his incident with Janne “Flash” Nilsson at Mantorp on the very last laps.
“He just drove straight in to the side of me. Either he took me off on purpose so that I would not get any points or he just lost his mind,” said Flash.

“I had technical problems with my car and I held too high speed. I have spoken to Flash about it but I am a bit disapointed with the official’s decision,” said Storckenfeldt.

Both cars were badly damaged after the incident and both of them retired. Storckenfedlt’s car was reported to be heavily damaged in the front while Flash’s car was reported to have lighter damage at the rear left of his car.
