Engström tops first Gelleråsen test

Tomas Engström of Honda topped the first test session at Gelleråsen. Engström has got new Öhlins-dampers on his car and was happy with the progress.
“We have done many damper tests now and we feel confident. Everything has gone perfect today,” said the Honda-man.

Second fastest was last race winner Richard Göransson.
“I drove a bit too slow,” laughed Göransson. “The car was all over the place, but in the end we got some nice laps.

Third was Robin Rudholm of West Coast Racing with championship leader Robert Dahlgren in fourth and Thed Björk of Audi rounding out top five.

Next up is free practice on Sunday before qualifying, super pole and the race.
