Fredrik Ekblom on pole position

Fredrik Ekblom sequred pole position today at Gelleråsen during the super pole. Flash Engineering dominated the first qualifying before the super pole, but was unable to answer to Ekblom’s lap.
“It was very much thanks to the team, the car was perfect during the super pole,” a very happy Ekblom said.

Second fastest was the reigning champion Thed Björk of Audi.
“I am very pleased with my lap, the car was very good and we have a good race ahead of us,” said Björk.

Third was championship leader Robert Dahlgren of Volvo.
“I made some mistakes during my lap, but I am happy with third,” the Volvo-man said.

Robin Rudholm was fourth with Janne “Flash” Nilsson fifth ahead of Frank Stippler and team mate Richard Göransson.
“I am very happy with fifth. We had a lot of understeer during the super pole, but I know that we have a very good race pace,” said Flash.

The race starts at 15.00.
